Why have I received a payment reminder?

If you’ve chosen Afterpay as a payment method, you pay in arrears after receiving your order. If you haven’t paid within 14 days, Afterpay will send you a payment reminder. The first and second reminders are sent by email, while the third is posted to you.


If you’ve already paid but have still received a payment reminder, we kindly ask that you contact Afterpay.

How do I redeem a discount code?

In your shopping basket, you’ll find a ‘Discount Code’ field towards the bottom-left of your products. Enter your discount code into this field and click on ‘Submit’. Your discount will immediately be subtracted from the total due and you can continue with your order. Please note: you can only use 1 discount code at a time.

What payment methods can I use at Haarshop.nl?

We want you to enjoy a pleasant and secure shopping experience. For this reason, we only use the most reliable payment systems. Below, you’ll find all payment options that can be used in the Netherlands and Belgium. Please choose the option that is most convenient for you.


Advance payment: iDeal (Netherlands)

Payment through iDeal is easy and secure. Choose this option if you’d like to pay using online banking.


Advance payment: Credit Card (Global)

Use your credit card (MasterCard, Visa or American Express) as an immediate, fast and secure payment option.


Advance payment: PayPal (Global)

You can also make immediate payment using your PayPal balance. PayPal, in a nutshell, is a personal account in an online environment. The advantage of this is the fact that you don’t need a card, card reader or any other physical resource in order to pay. It’s as simple as logging into your PayPal account and following a few steps to pay with your PayPal balance. It means that no financial information is required.


Advance payment: Bancontact / Mister Cash (Belgium)

Mister Cash, also known as Bancontact, is a secure, reliable and easy payment method during which your payment is immediately completed and registered. Choose this option if you’d like to pay using online banking.


Advance payment: Transfer (Europe)

If you choose this option, you’ll be redirected from our site to the secure Pay money transfer platform. This platform will display the necessary payment details, such as bank account number, payment reference, etc. You will subsequently use these details to transfer money to Pay using e.g. online banking. We will dispatch your order as soon as we receive your payment. If you choose this payment option, please note that it may take a few working days for your payment to be processed.


Please note: do not pay the amount into the Haarshop.nl bank account. Please pay it into the Pay bank account. Details for this account will be displayed during the order process.


Please note: Always enter your unique payment reference when transferring funds!


Payment in arrears: Afteropay (Netherlands)

If you’d like to pay after receiving your order, choose the option to pay upon receipt of a Afterpay invoice. 3 Days after shipping your order, you'll receive an invoice from Afterpay. You can pay with Afterpay for orders with a minimum of €25,- (€35,- for businesses) and a maximum order value of €300,- (€500,- for businesses). 


Payment in arrears: cash on delivery (COD) (Netherlands)

If you prefer to make a COD payment, you must email your order to our customer service department (customerservice@haarshop.nl). Our colleagues will always confirm via telephone that we have received your order correctly and in full. If you choose the COD option, an extra €9.95 COD charge will apply and your order will have to exceed a value of €30. The COD payment option means that you pay the PostNL courier in cash.


A number of other secure payment options apply to countries other than the Netherlands and Belgium.


Why doesn’t my discount code work?

This can be as a result of one of the factors listed below:


  1. You’ve entered the code incorrectly.
  2. The code has expired.
  3. A minimum order value applies to certain discount codes. Your current order value might be too low, in which case the code will not be activated.


Kindly do the following:


  1. Make sure that you’ve entered the discount code correctly.
  2. If you’ve been entering the discount code manually, try to copy it directly from the email we sent you.
  3. Check the email in which you received the code to determine whether the code is still valid.
  4. Check the email in which you received the code to determine whether a minimum order value applies.
  5. If the above solutions aren’t successful, please contact our customer service department.
How long is my discount code valid for?

You’ll find the period of validity of your discount code in the email in which you received with the code. If you’ve lost the email in the meantime, please contact our customer service department.


All birthday discount codes can only be used once and are valid for an unlimited period.
