How do I claim the warranty that covers my product?

If your product is still under warranty, complete this Warranty Form. Then contact our customer service department for our freepost address. Send the following to that address: (1) The completed warranty form, (2) the defective product, (3) a copy of your proof of purchase (your invoice) and (4) a brief explanation of the defect.

 

If your current address is different to the address on your proof of purchase, please mention this as part of the explanation.

 

As soon as we’ve received your product, we will send it to the manufacturer for inspection and repair. This can take as long as 4 weeks (but generally takes less time), depending on holiday periods.

 

If the manufacturer cannot repair the product, you’ll receive a new product. It will first be sent to us and you’ll receive a dispatch confirmation as soon as we’ve dispatched it to you.

 

During this period, your warranty continues as usual. This means that you will not receive a full new warranty when your new or repaired product is returned to you.

How long will repairs to my product take?

Repair periods vary in most cases, but as a rule do not take longer than 4 weeks. During holiday periods, such as the festive season, unforeseen delays are possible.

Are products purchased from Haarshop.nl covered by a warranty?

This differs as per product category. There are roughly 2 categories of products available from Haarshop.nl:

 

  1. Colour charts or consumable items (e.g. shampoo, wax, gel, etc.)
  2. Tools (e.g. hairdressing scissors, straighteners, curling tongs, etc.)

 

Colour charts and consumable items are not covered by any warranty

The following applies in terms of warranties on tools:

 

A 2-year warranty covers all electronic products. MaxPro and ISO Pro products are covered by lifetime warranties, as long as you register your product using the registration card supplied with the product.

 

Clippers are covered by a full warranty, with the exception of parts subject to wear, such as blades and batteries.

 

Balmain Extensions are covered by a 6-month warranty, as long as you use Balmain haircare products.

 

Scissors are always carefully checked for defects by the supplier. If you receive defective scissors, you must return them within 2 working days. We will provide you with new scissors. If this 2-day period is exceeded, we will return the scissors to the supplier for inspection. You will be responsible for covering any possible costs incurred during the aforementioned process.

 

Possible warranties are valid from the date on your proof of purchase. This proof of purchase is therefore essential in order to claim your warranty.

 

All those who bought the product as a consumer, will be entitled to the legal guarantee. This means that your statutory rights are not in any way affected by the warranties mentioned above.

I ordered one of your products from bol.com and it has failed. What should I do?

What does my product’s proof of warranty consist of?

Your proof of warranty is the proof of purchase or invoice related to your order. Make sure that you safeguard this, at least for as long as the warranty is valid.
