Will the shipping costs be refunded if I return a product?

If the product was alone in the outbound delivery, you’ll be refunded any possible outbound shipping costs.

 

If the item was not alone in the outbound delivery (and you’ve kept other products), you won’t be refunded any possible outbound shipping costs.

What is the right to revoke?

Right to revoke

You have the right to revoke the agreement without giving a reason within a period of 14 days. This right to revoke is valid for 14 days after the day on which you or another party appointed by you, not including the courier, has physically taken possession of the goods (or, in case of batches of goods, the final goods or parts thereof).

 

You cannot claim your right to revoke if your order contains consumable items (such as shampoo, gel, wax, etc.) that you have opened and used.

 

In order to exercise your right to revoke, you must inform us by means of an explicit statement (e.g. written and sent by post, fax or email) about your decision to revoke the agreement. In the interest of observing the revocation period, sending your notification – regarding your intention to exercise your right to revoke – before the revocation period expires will suffice.

 

Consequences of revocation

If you revoke the agreement, we will refund all payments you have made to date, including shipping costs (with the exception of possible addition costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than our standard, least expensive delivery option), without delay and no more than 14 days after we have been informed about your decision to revoke the agreement. We will pay your refund into the account from which the funds originated, unless specifically agreed otherwise. Whatever the case may be, such a refund will take place without any charge to you.

 

We reserve the right to delay the refund until such a time as we have received the returned goods, or until you have provided us with proof of return, whichever comes first.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us about your decision to revoke the agreement. I’ve received a broken or defective product. What should I do?

In this case, please contact our customer service department. Our colleagues will give you our freepost address so that you can return the broken or defective product free of charge. Enter your complaint on the consignment note you received and return it with the defective product. It will be checked upon receipt.

 

As soon as we dispatch a replacement product, we’ll send you a dispatch confirmation. Starting from that time, you should receive the new product within the standard delivery period (see table below). The delivery time commences when you receive a dispatch confirmation email from us.

I’ve ordered one of your products from bol.com and would like to return it. What should I do?

As of 1 October 2015, you can return products ordered from bol.com free of charge. This therefore also applies to Haarshop.nl products ordered from bol.com.

 

Go to bol.com, log into your bol.com account and navigate to ‘Orders’. Here, you can request a return authorisation for your order. You can subsequently download and print an electronic return label.

 

First pack (1) the product and (2) a copy of your proof of purchase into a package. Then stick the bol.com return label onto the package. If you’ve discarded the original packaging and protective material in which the product was sent, you’ll have to obtain replacement packaging and protective material. I’ve returned my product. When will I be refunded?

Your money will be paid into the bank or credit card account used to make the purchase within 3 days of us having received and checked your returned product.

Will my money be refunded if I return a product?

If you return your product within 14 days and it complies with the below conditions, your money will – of course – be refunded:

 

  1. If you’ve bought a colour chart or consumable item (e.g. shampoo, gel, wax, etc.), the packaging must be sealed with none of the contents missing.
  2. If you’ve bought a tool (e.g. hairdressing scissors, straighteners, curling tongs, etc.), the product and its packaging must be returned to us, both in original condition.
Can I return an item?

This depends on the type of item and the amount of time that has passed.

 

You can return a colour chart or consumable item (e.g. shampoo, gel, wax, etc.) within 14 days as long as the packaging of the consumable item is sealed and its contents unused.

 

Unfortunately, you cannot return a colour chart or consumable item (e.g. shampoo, gel, wax, etc.) after 14 days.

 

You can return a tool (e.g. hairdressing scissors, straighteners, curling tongs, etc.) within 14 days as long as you return the product in its original packaging. This means that both the product and its packaging must be in good shape, i.e. in original condition.

 

Unfortunately, you cannot return a tool (e.g. hairdressing scissors, straighteners, curling tongs, etc.) after 14 days. If the tool does not function as it should, you can lay claim to its warranty as long as you comply with the warranty conditions.
